Berlin has got more to offer than old German history - Berlin's got the TOWER BLOCKS for example. Founded in 2001 this band is new in the Punk Rock Bizz but NEW doesn't mean boring or without talent. If you think this, the TOWER BLOCKS will prove you wrong. And its up to you after listening to their album to say sorry to the guys ha ha. This 4 German boys deliver fresh Oi!/ Streetpunk influenced by the likes of the 4 Skins, Sham 69, the Who and other genius. Compare them with whoever you want but at the end of the day TOWER BLOCKS are the TOWER BLOCKS and not some cheap imitation of another re-union band. Give 'em a chance and you wont be disappointed. Don't miss your chance to inject yourself some catchy tunes that pack a punch made in Germany.
The TOWER BLOCKS changed their line-up in the end of 2003: First drummer Anton was kicked out of the band in September, later on Schneider decided to leave the band for searching some new musical adventures...;-) New line-up but same sound: Raw punkrock, full of energy, some songs played live with a second guitar now!
The TOWER BLOCKS play live a set of usually more than an hour, including some Cover versions of Sham 69, 4 Skins, Blitz, Stiff Little Fingers, Peter & The Test Tube Babies and of course their own material. Their lyrics are about what happens in everyday life of a Punk-Rocker or Skinhead for example fighting the boredom, supporting your local team and being back against the wall because of having a few glasses too many. They also put their nasty, dirty fingers in the clean wounds of society to make it sicker hд hд!!
